Military & Veterans

Mediacom is proud to have hundreds of veterans work with us every day. Mediacom values our veterans and the experience they bring. We believe they are critical to our business success.

We want to thank each of them for their service!

Meet Our Veterans

“I had a very easy transition from military to civilian life. For those veterans that don’t, Mediacom offers an employee assistance program which has someone to talk to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They offer assistance from choosing a daycare all the way up to financial assistance. It’s a great perk.”
“Absolutely I would recommend Mediacom as a career for Veterans. There is opportunity throughout the company for advancement. I started right at the bottom of the ladder, like most employees at Mediacom have and worked my way up quickly through the ranks.”
“I think Veterans succeed quite easily here because Mediacom embraces their talent, talents that most military people don’t realize they have.”

"Transitioning from the military took a lot of adjustments. When I first got out, I was kind of nervous and didn’t know what to expect. As soon as I transitioned and found a good home, Mediacom I call home, I just felt comfortable, welcomed and appreciated here. That’s why I have been here so long. I would tell any Veteran to come here and work.”
